100,000 Dots & Counting!

100,000 dots, originally uploaded by avision4.

We're on the home stretch now!

The trees are all being done by stippling with my trusty old Walnut Hollow woodburner and a very small cone tip. Burning hundreds of thousands of dots takes quite a bit of time, but the end result is so worth the time put in. Stippling with my burners is actually one of my most favorite ways to burn details.

Busy day and weekend ahead! :) Can't wait for this board to be completed now. :)

Opening Day of Whitetail season is tomorrow. Our area is visited by hunters from all over, at least during the first week of the season. So, to all of you who may be hunting here in the U.P., please be safe and best of luck to you all!
